Salome is a disturbed and overtly sensual woman whose shocking behavior is matched in potency only by the latent lechery of King Herod. The setting is not a tranquil court, but a rather a den of vipers where no man is safe from seduction and harm. A truly singular operatic experience.

La Traviata is the story of Violetta, a Parisian courtesan who must battle the twin demons of consumption and a broken heart. Hers is the ultimate operatic life, one filled with grand parties, grander sacrifices, and some of Verdi’s most memorable music.
Puccini’s Turandot
March 15 – 23, 2014
Turandot is Puccini’s “cruel princess.” She is vain, icy, and seemingly incapable of love. In keeping with her impenetrable persona, she announces that she will marry the man who can solve her three riddles but gravely punish those who cannot. Heads do roll until one clever prince appears and solves her trio of challenges.
Mozart’s The Abduction from the Seraglio
May 10 – 18, 2014
Mozart’s exotic story tells of a fair damsel who, like most operatic damsels, finds herself in great distress! Will the dashing nobleman rescue her from her Turkish kidnappers and the powerful ruler who desires to posses her? Or will the true lovers die in the attempt?
