Bringing a Dragon out of Storage

Our production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute has many beautiful and magical elements to it, and one of them is a dragon. Our Props Master brought it out last week to make sure it was still in good shape, and look for any repairs that needed to be made.

The dragon is pretty big, and takes ideally 6 people to maneuver it!


My favorite part is being able to see the detail close up. Its head is covered with multicolored beads and mirrors so that it will be colorful and vibrant under the stage lights.
